This is the first painting of 2012. It's a close up of an overpass near the I-696 and Mound Road interchange in Metro Detroit.

All the 5 x7 paintings have sturdy mounting hardware attached to the back side of the panel so that the painting can be hung without a frame. The felt pads help keep the paintings from tilting back toward the wall. The archival "gessobord" panel is made by a company named Ampersand.

This freeway road sign greets travellers east toward the I-696 and I-94 interchange.

I encountered this illuminated interchange while traveling west on the Ohio turnpike. Somehow Toledo was tranformed into Tolodo. Will correct.

This road passes over I-69 about 30 miles west of Flint near the city of Perry, Michigan.

I came across this crosswalk while travelling near I-94 and nine mile road in metro Detroit.
